Meet Our Team: Ricardo P. Araújo

Same month, another 5-year Stemversary! Today it is time to celebrate Ricardo Araújo, our Quality Control Manager. Ricardo holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a master’s degree in Applied Biochemistry from the University of Minho. He is working at Stemmatters since 2017 where he acquired skills in adipose-tissue derived cell culture, as well as process development and cGMP manufacturing. As Quality Control Manager, Ricardo is responsible for supervising the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control systems and activities.

Describe this past 5 years at Stemmatters in one small sentence.
These were years of great demand and hard work, with moments of sacrifice and resilience, but most importantly, of personal and collective growth and development. Exciting and happy years that were worth living!
What motivates you to continue working at Stemmatters?
To feel that I am valued for my dedication and total commitment to honest, loyal and pure work. To feel that this is recognized by the company, not taking into account other implied intentions that are not, solely, to contribute to helping the company.
What’s the best thing about working at Stemmatters?
The great relationship of proximity between the group and from which the mutual help and support stand out. Together we are building and contributing to something unique, of great importance and with a positive impact on society.
